Born in Louisiana in March 1862, Ines Clementine Galatas lived a life shaped by resilience and love. At 20, she married John Thomas Dale, and they welcomed a son, Arthur Clement Dale. But tragedy struck when John Thomas passed away just three years later.
Undeterred, Ines opened a grocery store to support her family. The widow of John T. Dale remarried Henry Paul Galatas in 1891 and had another son. She bares one son from this marriage Henry Alvin Galatas, sadly, their marriage ended in divorce.
In 1897, Ines found happiness again with Adolphe Elk A Ribek Bosq, and they welcomed a son, Jesse Arthur. Through joys and sorrows, Ines leaned on her family for strength, even as she mourned the loss of her mother, Marie Basilede, in 1912, and her sister, Marie Amanda, in 1914.
Ines Clementine Galatas passed away in 1933, leaving behind a legacy of resilience, love, and the enduring bonds of family.
