Maestri B. Dale

Maestri B. Dale passed away at his residence on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at the age of 85. He was a native of New Orleans and a longtime resident of Kenner. Mr. Dale was a graduate of Holy Cross High School and received an Associates’ Degree from Delgado. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict, later retired from Illinois Central Railroad, was a Broker for his realty company, Dale Realty and was a member of the Men of Manresa Catholic Retreat House Group 22A for over 40 years. Beloved husband of 61 years to Lois Schultz Dale.

Loving father of Deborah L. Dale, Dennis M. Dale (Marsha), Alan A. Dale (the late, Donna), Robert T. Dale (Gina), Michael M. Dale (Ann) and Laura D. Lepre (Edward). Son of the late Jennie Maestri and Arthur Clement Dale Sr. Brother of Corinne D. Koehl and the late Arthur C. Dale Sr., Ferdinand Dale and Leonard Dale. Grandfather of Rochelle Eschette Brook, Rachell Eschette Booth, Reanell Eschette McClure, Renee Dale, Lindsey Dale, Dennis Dale, Jr., Mary Dale, Barbara Dale McCaskill, Melanie Dale Brewster, Alan Dale, Jr., Jared Dale, Alexa Dale, Stephen Dale, Paul Dale, Grace Dale, Heather Lepre Prestenback and Nathan Lepre. Great grandfather of Trevor Brooke, Samantha Booth, Hunter Booth, Delaney Booth, Madeline McClure, Jacqueline McClure, Kara McCaskill, Luke McCaskill, Madison Brewster, Allison Brewster, Addison Prestenback, Michael Prestenback, Jr., Ella Prestenback and Maddox Prestenback. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at L.A. Muhleisen and Son Funeral Home, 2607 Williams Blvd., Kenner on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Metairie Cemetery.
